You're hilarious!When we first moved to the US, a friend would give me humongous zucchinis every summer. I used to think that the teeny things in the grocery stores were miniature, specially grown zucchini!I would slice them thick, brush them with olive oil, sprinkle some ranch powder on them and grill them or garlic and salt. I haven't had the flowers and although I saw them at the Boulder Farmers' Market, it was just too hot to make the effort to buy anything. I couldn't believe it but I left empty-handed.I think the fermented tea we tasted also had something to do with it. It tasted like rancid yogurt. :-(
