It's very gratifying to hear an inspector oohing and ahing over a 113-year-old house. The foundation is solid, the wiring and plumbing are good, the overall structure is sound. A couple of things need to be dealt with, but they're totally fixable.
It is clear, however, that I will not be able to clean my own gutters anymore.
