I'm slowly getting the kitchen organized; it's very disconcerting not to know where things are, but to have a very clear picture in your head of where they used to be.

If you're looking for those instructions, click here. There's also a link in the column on the right. And thanks for coming by!
This isn't a really fancy food blog like some of the ones mentioned in the paper. It's more of a food/garden/dog/random observations blog. A little something for everyone.
And I'm delighted that Manisha at Indian Food Rocks got a mention, too. Go check out her recipes.
Congrats Kitt! That's totally cool. Your step-by-step on the No Knead is very good. Fresh baked bread and homemade soups are sounding really good to me lately.
ReplyDeleteYay for you and your no-knead bread! I've been sending the link to everyone who mentions bread and bake in the same breath. :-D
ReplyDeleteAnd yay for me, too!
Congrats on your mention! No knead bread is something I've been meaning to try. I think I've printed that Bittman piece from NYT about five times now. Maybe once we get a chill in the air for good.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Meresy! Make sure you have the corrected version of the recipe. The original had too much water. Should be 1 1/2 cups. I also upped the salt and it tasted much better.
