R.I.P. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX7

This is the last picture my camera took before it went kaput. It's got a broken switch, so it's left permanently querying whether I want wide angle or telephoto. I can't do anything else with it.

I went to the lone camera shop in town. Of course they couldn't fix it. They offered to order a new camera from their Green Bay store. I got the info and went over to the library.

An hour later I was no wiser about what camera to get, but I did know I could get it waaaaay cheaper online.

Mom's going to let me use her camera, bless her. I'll be doing some shopping when I get home. I feel like I'm missing a limb.

  1. Kitt... I'm so sorry about your camera. I hope you get a new one that you like soon (with a good price!).

  2. I hate it when that happens. Just recently, when I am most needing to conserve money for the fall, both my laptop and GPS went dead. Well, more specifically, the laptop is pretty much in a coma (10 minutes from the time I click on the Start button to the time the Start button menu actually pops up), while the GPS just somehow shorted out - The lights are out but everyone's home, to reverse the old saying. 3. Thanks, Blue.

John, it's always at the most inconvenient time, isn't it? Do you use your GPS a lot?

Manisha, there's no macro lens on an iPhone.
