Funny, I was poking around online and ran across another photo of that plant, at http://edaleputt.blogspot.com/ . It's Lantana.
The fifth one down is a lantana. You can grow them from seed - in most places. Usually they are annuals, but sometimes they're hardy, depending on the the temperatures.Oh, and I see as I post that KB already answered the question. Oh well.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! The Lantana you photographed is beautiful, also the blue hydrangea. The photo I use for my avatar was taken at Reiman Gardens in Ames, I wish I could say it had been taken in my own yard :).
