One last look around the empty house, and a note to leave on the fridge for the nice young couple who bought their first house today. The closing went without a hitch, and I can move on at last.
It feels very good ... a big relief. Three months exactly, Kris! I first called my realtor about the house on April 17 (my dad's birthday), after seeing the sign that it was officially on the market.
It feels like forever, but really, talk about fast!
Congratulations! That all seemed to go pretty smoothly -- gives me faith in the universe, or something like that. I still wish I could have taken your piano, though. Not to mention moved into your old house...
You've had a busy 2 months. Congratulations! Bet it feels very good to have this all wrapped up.
ReplyDeleteYay! This must be a relief.

ReplyDeleteI would hve given you the piano, especially if you were moving in. But your house is much nicer, I think.
