Did you think I was going to present you with another delicious dish full? Alas, no. That last batch in October was pretty much it. Last year I cut the canes down to a foot high, but the stubs I left did nothing, so this year I took everything down to the ground, and ripped out the outriders.
It looks so desolate now, but I know it's the secret to good fruit on strong canes. My fears of the raspberries being the Audreys of the garden were unfounded. Click on the Raspberries tag to see photos of them in their prime, plus recipes.
