The cow-orkers are a game bunch. But I have to wonder if maybe we all spend too much time together. The coordinated outfits are starting to scare me a little.
Not to get all semi-serious here, but my theory on this phenomenon is that cow-orkers influence each other in many, many ways, big and little. One little way is that when we shop we are attracted to colors, styles, designs that we see in those we're closest to. Some sociologist has probably written a paper on this: Quantified Behaviors in Consumer Trends Among Employment Cohort-Groups. Or maybe not. Maybe it's just a coincidence.
hahaha, but it's fun when this happens!

ReplyDeleteHey! The guys on the left stole my job's "uniform". ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove the comment Pam! It is a bit freaky though.
ReplyDeletePink, it's fun and funny, but kinda weird.
ReplyDeletePam, I think you're right! There was a study recently about happiness being contagious, and co-workers have a big influence on that.
Vicki, it's a common look, isn't it? I've been known to don it myself on occasion.
Mimi, ;-)
I used to work with a girl that copied my clothes on purpose. Whenever I'd get something new, she's run out and buy the same thing. Now THAT's scary!
ReplyDeleteBetts, that's pretty creepy. Flattering but creepy.
