The danger of running out of TP

That quick run to Costco can get expensive! Though I got a lot of staples, too. The frivolous stuff is for the cow-orkers. We're all about snackin'.

  1. My parents once took my stepson to Costco and traumatized him for life. Costco is just not his thing.

  2. Heh. What part of it traumatized him?

I never go when it's busy, if I can help it. First thing on a weekday it's usually OK, and I always try to leave enough time to check all the aisles. I probably don't use it enough to save any money, but it cuts way down on my regular grocery visits. I buy fresh produce at the farmers market instead.

  3. Going to Costco tonight. Somehow I have become the Costco ambassador for everyone in my family. My parents live far enough away that it doesn't make sense for them to have a membership, so I do their shopping for them. Oh well...we got one of those executive memberships, so we get a percentage back.

Did you get the Mrs. May's Trio bars? Mmm. Yummy. But sadly, Costco only sells the variety pack, and I only like a couple of the flavors, so now I have to buy them online instead.

  4. I haven't seen those bars before. I'll check them out. I try not to buy too much snack food, except what is contributed to The Trough at work. Mostly cereal, oatmeal, dish and laundry detergent, TP, eggs, milk, chicken broth,

Sometimes I buy packaged frozen foods and invariably I'm disappointed. I'd rather eat my own frozen lasagna.
