Potato garlic gratin and other thoughts

Some random observations:
  1. The bee swarm was still there yesterday morning but is gone today. I hope they found a good home.
  2. I ditched Twitter. I wasn't getting anything out of it.
  3. I used young garlic bulbs and scapes in a potato gratin the same way I used leeks. Do not do this unless you really like garlic.

    I have to say, the gratin tastes much better on Day 2. Guess it needed a chance to mellow out a bit.
