Photogenic frolickers

Fresh snow and a bright blue sky are always so uplifting. It helps when the temperature gets above freezing, too. We start out with our hats and gloves and many zipped-up layers. Once we've walked a bit, the gloves come off and the coats are unzipped.The poodles need no prompting to enjoy the day. Look at Jackson's polar-bear paws! (You can click the photo to see it larger.) He's so photogenic; he looks like a stuffed animal. When Jackson needs a bath, the Sergeant says, he looks like a stuffed animal that got left outside for a while.

Lucy is harder to photograph well. She shows up as a black blob, and she's usually not as smiley as Jackson. But she's certainly just as happy to be there.
