Cheddar cheese bread

I started to make a small loaf of this no-knead bread yesterday, but seeing that left just a little dough from this batch, I went ahead and made two. One for me (goes great with lasagna!), one for the cow-orkers. Love that cheesy goodness!

The recipe is here. Just add your fillings or toppings (cheeses, Nutella, etc.) when you're shaping it before baking.

  1. That looks great. . .again! I just made your no-knead bread today for the third time(using up all of the dough). I'm going to post about it pretty soon. Doesn't look as great as yours though lol.

  2. I have been making this cheese bread of different shapes and sizes, EVERY SINGLE day over the past SEVEN DAYS. I told one of my daughters, this was it, but she said she still wanted more tomorrow. So we'll see if we go for the 8th day. I'll be posting the pics when I am not too busy baking bread all the time.... lol

  5. Heh. You can start without the book (I confess, I don't have it yet; I'm waiting until I see it at my local indie). All of the variations I've done, with the exception of the first three (caramel rolls, challah and basc bread) were just improvisation.
