A group of us went and stayed with friends who live there, on their ancestral cattle property up in the hills. It was not the Jamaica you might have encountered on a cruise or at a resort. It was pretty special.
Of course, we did get some beach time in, too.

Love the picture of the cattle (picture of you is nice too of course). It's always wonderful when you have a chance to get away from the tourist scene in a place like Jamaica. As I look out my window at the snow and ice and broken trees and shrubs I'm beginning to get a strong urge to be on a warm beach doing exactly what you're doing. But then I'd have to get on a plane and the plane trip I took last year to Italy was pretty awful so I'll just wait until spring when I can be at the Atlantic Ocean in 2 1/2 hours.
