Home of Coors

We got yer mountain water right here.

(Edit: You just can't see it in this camera phone photo, but that is the Coors Brewery downstream, and that is the water that goes into making the beer.)

  1. Mmmmm, not exactly. The average flow of Clear Creek wouldn't even be enough to wet the sides of the tanks at the brewery. If I remember the tour guide correctly -- difficult after a few beers -- the water used in the brew comes from a large aquifer below Golden. Then there's the issue of satellite breweries and their sources of water. If it is not from the Rockies is it still Coors?
