Mothers of invention

I've decided I'm going to start collecting examples of "repurposing." Now, ordinarily I might think that the fishing pole used to hold a flag is kind of clever, maybe a little cutesy, but within the realm of OK-ness. But the folding table used as a dog/baby gate cancels that right out. (It's been there for months, in case you're thinking it's a temporary thing.)And when those pesky dogs and toddlers threaten to get out the back way, plywood springs to mind. And shoe racks.

  1. Hmmm... all we're missing here is the old sofa with springs popping and worn flowered upholstery used as porch furniture.
