Petal pusher

Siberian squill:

Forsythia:
Muscari:
Daffodil:

Tree peony:I'm particularly glad to see the tree peony shoots, as it got stomped on (by the mailman, I suspect) last year. People say tree peonies are fussy, but this one bloomed the first spring it was in the ground (I planted it in the fall). This will be its third spring, and it's looking more robust, so I have high hopes for spectacular blooms. The shoots look like hands, don't they?
