Hooray! A 16-gigabyte SD card! With the higher resolution on my new camera, I can fill a 1-gig card surprisingly fast, and it's maddening trying to delete pictures in the field just to clear some space.
It comes with a handy little card-reader, too.
I tested them out right away. "Look, Sophie! Isn't it exciting?"

cute Sophie picture. :D
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking of upgrading my camera - you have great pics here, just curious, do you use a slr or digital point & shoot?
ReplyDeletethanks, Mimi!
ReplyDeleteJoanne, it's a point-and-shoot. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX07. 7.2 megapixels.
It has some limitations, but it's what I was used to (replaced my old 5mp DMC-FX7 in August) and I got it on sale for $170 because it's brown. Pretty good deal for a handy camera. I take it everywhere.
Thanks, I'm leaning toward a point&shoot too, increasing the megapixels so hopefully the image quality too.
ReplyDeleteHope you'll still have some surprises under the tree on Christmas morning.
ReplyDeleteJoanne, I'm tempted by a DSLR (especially a nice macro lens!) but the pocket camera is so easy to take everywhere.
ReplyDeleteBetts, there are a couple of things still to open, happily.
