Oh I am sad but I think I must give up on thinking that I will ever hear back from you. Maybe my e-mail was lost in ether forever. all the best anyway, Lota
I promise next time I come visit you can shift it on a snow day from one side of the street to the other. It's not so difficult as the 1950 Caddy. Promise!
Cars/trucks that old have personality. I can imagine that truck animated for the "Cars" movie.
ReplyDeleteYou'd look very smart cruisin' your baby blue truck! Go get it girl!
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteI used to work for a woman who had a 1970 Chevy Impala. It was pale turquoise with a white convertible top. I loved riding in that car.
We used to have one! I'll have to find a picture for you. DH sold it for $2K on ebay after we bought our 1998 version.
ReplyDeleteSorry to say I don't miss it one bit!
Hubby says: "Pimp." :-)

Hey, Lota, I did email you and didn't hear back. Maybe my note went to your spam filter?
ReplyDeleteBetts, totally. Most cars now are like Stepford Wives.
Denise, I would (maybe) if it were for sale! Well, no, I probably wouldn't. But if you gave it to me ...
Maya, I wouldn't say no to a '70 Impala convertible either.
Julie, no? But it's so handsome!
Vicki, just what does he mean by that??? ;-)
You like, Miss T?
ReplyDeleteKitt! Thanks for emailing me even though I did not receive it yet. I get very few spam messages and always check them before discarding.
ReplyDeleteall the best.
Lota
If I had it to give you, I would.
ReplyDeleteI HAVE that truck, in cream.
